Australian Insulin Pump Subsidy Increases

On Sunday (February 8, 2010), Health Minister Nicola Roxon announced an increase in the level of subsidy available to children with type 1 diabetes who require an insulin pump.

Under the changes to the Type 1 Diabetes Insulin Pump Program, the maximum subsidy has more than doubled to $6400 or 80% of the pump price.
